We like the 2 phase treatment plans. Our oldest daughter had braces put on in third grade, then went into a retainer for a short time and then back into braces a final time after all the permanent teeth came in. Our youngest was put into braces in second grade. They were able to skip the snaggle tooth stage because their teeth were straight at such a young age. Turned out with beautiful smiles :)
